How we verify a place
A place being searchable is not the same as a place being ready. Verification is the difference.
What is checked
- It exists and is open. Someone has been, recently. Not a listing, a visit.
- What can be offered there. Confirmed with the temple, mosque, gurudwara or parish — not assumed from the category of building.
- Who performs what. Whether the ritual is done by the institution's own priest or may be offered by a devotee.
- Times. Real opening hours, real prayer times, real festival closures.
- Permission to record. Some places do not allow photography in the sanctum. Where that is true, it is stated before you pay and your proof is taken from where it is permitted.
Places verified on request
If you search for somewhere not yet verified, you can request it. Verification usually takes two to five days. You are not charged until it is confirmed, and if it cannot be verified you are told why.
Good to know
Where a place does not permit photography, you will still receive the audio, the note and a photograph from the permitted area. This is shown to you before payment, never discovered afterwards.
