Shri Girijatmaj Temple at Lenyadri, near Junnar in Maharashtra, is one of the Ashtavinayak — the eight abodes of Lord Ganesha — and the only one set on a mountain, carved within an ancient Buddhist cave reached by some three hundred steps.
